The Cortland Youth Bureau will provide our community the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of recreational and educational programs. We will strive to provide the highest quality programs and facilities that meet the needs of the diverse communities it serves. It is our desire to combine a positive environment with a rewarding experience.
We will enhance healthy and active lifestyles while connecting more people to parks, programs and youth services. We will do this through stewardship of public resources and by providing programs and spaces to fulfill unmet needs.

Nothing kills a program quicker...
. . . than everyone waiting until the last minute to register for it. If you would like to participate in one of our classes or sports activities, please register well in advance of the registration deadline. At some point, we must determine if enrollment is sufficient to hold the activity. Your cooperation will assist us in providing the best organization and administration of recreation programs.
Jim Partigianoni Scholarship Fund
Scholarships are available for resident individuals of all ages, who, for financial reasons, would otherwise be unable to participate in Cortland Youth Bureau programs. Scholarships apply only to in-house sponsored programs, not including field trips. Interested individuals should contact our office at 753-3021 or stop in to pick up a scholarship form. Registration must be done at the office for programs using the scholarship fund, not online.
Registrants and participants of programs and special events automatically permit taking photos and videos of themselves and their children during the Youth Bureau activities for publication in the program brochure, website, and additional promotional uses as the Youth Bureau deems necessary.
Parents & Participants
Our programs are provided for the fun and enjoyment of all who participate. Please keep in mind, we modify the rules for our sports programs to coincide with the age group with whom we are working. Players, keep up the good sportsmanship. Have a fun-filled season! Parents, we are always looking for volunteers to help with all of our programs. Feel free to give us a call.
